
Frank P. Beninato, III represents C-suite executives, high net worth individuals, and other aviation industry businesses in negotiating, structuring, and closing tax efficient and FAA compliant acquisitions, leases, and dispositions of large long-range business aircraft and helicopters, as well as advising clients on developing aircraft ownership and operating structure alternatives to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, maximize ownership/operating deductions, and minimize likelihood of future audits. Frank is an active committee member of the NBAA Regulatory Issues Advisory Group.
Prior to joining the Firm, Frank practiced at a boutique aviation law firm, and was a Senior Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP's Deals, M&A, and Transactions practice. Throughout his M&A and deals career, Frank has advised multinational Fortune 500 companies, privately held companies, funds and partnerships on the tax and corporate aspects of planning, structuring, and executing complex transactions across various industries and jurisdictions.
Frank received his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Miami School of Law in 2015, with a concentration in International Taxation, and was the recipient of the Deans Scholarship. He received his J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law in 2013. Frank received his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Rutgers University in 2008. Prior to practicing tax law and accounting, Frank worked as a Private Equity Finance Analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co.
Frank is admitted to the Bar in New York, Nevada and District of Columbia only, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the States of Nevada and New York, and is an instrument rated pilot.
